About this Service
When you're dealing with an electrical emergency in Perth's Northern Suburbs, you need a licensed electrician who can respond fast and fix the problem safely, not just diagnose it and leave. Buetec Electrical handles emergency work for situations that can't wait: sparking outlets or switches, total loss of power, a burning smell from a wall or switchboard, and exposed or damaged wiring. Every emergency callout is handled by a fully licensed and insured electrician under EC13712, so the fault is diagnosed and fixed correctly the first time.
24 hour emergency electrician in Perth
Electrical faults do not wait for business hours, so Buetec takes emergency calls 24/7. When you call, you speak to Nuno, not a call centre, and he will ask a few quick questions to work out how urgent it is and what to bring.
These are the faults that should be treated as an emergency:
- A power point, switch or appliance that is sparking
- A burning smell or scorch marks at a power point, light or the switchboard
- Exposed, damaged or wet wiring
- Your house has no power but the neighbours still do
- A safety switch that trips straight away every time you reset it
What to do while you wait
If it is safe, turn the power off at the main switch on your switchboard. Keep people and pets away from any exposed wiring, and do not keep resetting a safety switch that trips, because it is tripping for a reason.
Check whether the rest of the street has lost power too. If it has, the fault is probably on Western Power's network, not in your home, and you should call Western Power on 13 13 51. If it is only your house, call us.
A single dead power point or one light that has stopped working usually is not an emergency and can be booked in as a normal job. If you are not sure, call and ask.
How the call out works
We come the same day where possible. On site, the first job is making the area safe. Then we find the cause and tell you what it will take to fix, with a fixed price before any repair work starts. No surprise fees. Every emergency job is done under our electrical contractor licence, EC13712.
